Reported Activity: The Columbus River Walk is a known paranormal hotspot thanks to the history of the path on the water. The northern portion is home to several Civil War embattlements, the Mott House, and the location of the Last Land Battle of the Civil War. BCPR ran mini investigations of the exterior of the Mott House and the area where the battle was fought. The investigation turned up several photos of odd activity on the front porch of the Mott house as well as on the path of the battle site.

A bright orb was found in the top right of the porch. Team members could not recreate this orb in any way.
This is a picture of the path that next to some of the earthworks used during the defense of Columbus. An orb is clearly seen to the right of the path.
The Mott House was the home of a Union sympathizer during the Civil War. The house is located just in front of the location of the Battle for Columbus, better known as “The Last Land Battle of the Civil War.” The house was used as a hospital after Union forces crossed the river. The Mott house has several holes and breaks in the brick which are obvious bullet penetration markings.
